Keeping Your Recall Going
You haven't “finished” recall training. You've learnt how to keep progressing it.
- Practise recall when it's easy, not only when you desperately need your dog back.
- Keep rewarding good recalls, long term.
- Recall, reward, release often enough that coming back doesn't always predict the fun ending.
- Keep rewarding voluntary check-ins, keep playing the games, and use a long line when you need it.
- If your recall starts falling apart, stop testing it and make it easier again.
Thank youA thank you, and how to share your progress.
Thank you for choosing Recall Rescue. I hope it's helped you and your dog build a recall that gives you both the confidence to enjoy more freedom together.
One of the best parts of my job is seeing dogs enjoying life off lead and hearing from owners who can finally relax on walks again. If Recall Rescue has helped you, I'd love to hear about your experience.
If you're happy to, I'd also love it if you could send me a short video of your dog enjoying their recall. With your permission, I'd love to share it on my social media to show other owners what's possible with consistent training. Seeing real dogs succeed gives others the confidence to start their own journey.
Finally, if you have a couple of minutes, I'd really appreciate it if you could leave a review. Your feedback helps other owners decide whether Recall Rescue is right for them and allows me to keep creating practical, effective training resources.
Thank you for your support, and I hope you and your dog enjoy many happy adventures together.
